Effective Date: August 17, 2026Last Updated: August 17, 2026These Terms & Conditions (“Terms”) govern appliance repair, diagnostic, maintenance, and related services provided by FixCore Appliance Repair (“FixCore,” “we,” “us,” or “our”).
By scheduling an appointment, requesting service, approving a repair, or allowing FixCore to perform services, you acknowledge and agree to these Terms.
1. ServicesFixCore provides diagnostic, repair, maintenance, and related appliance services for residential and commercial customers.
Services may include, depending on the appliance and circumstances, diagnosis, repair, replacement of components, maintenance, cleaning, installation of certain appliance-related components, and other services agreed upon with the customer.
Availability of a particular service may depend on appliance type, brand, model, condition, parts availability, location, and the nature of the problem.
FixCore reserves the right to decline work that cannot reasonably or safely be performed.
2. Diagnostic and Service FeeA diagnostic or service fee may apply when a technician visits the service location to inspect and diagnose an appliance.
The applicable fee will be communicated to the customer before or in connection with scheduling the service.
If the customer approves and proceeds with the recommended repair during the applicable service process, the diagnostic fee will be applied toward the approved repair price unless otherwise stated.
If the customer declines the repair, the diagnostic/service fee remains due for the technician's visit and diagnostic service.
A diagnostic fee does not guarantee that an appliance can or should be repaired.
3. Diagnosis and Repair PricingAfter evaluating the appliance, FixCore will communicate the proposed repair price to the customer before proceeding with the repair.
The repair will begin only after the customer or an authorized representative approves the proposed work and price.
Approval may be provided verbally, electronically, in writing, or through another reasonable method of communication.
The quoted repair price is based on the condition and information reasonably available at the time of diagnosis.
If additional problems, concealed damage, additional required parts, or circumstances affecting the repair are discovered after work begins, FixCore will communicate any material additional work or charges to the customer for approval before proceeding with that additional work.
4. Parts and DepositsSome repairs require parts to be ordered before the repair can be completed.
FixCore may require a deposit or advance payment for parts, special-order items, or other repair-related costs.
The customer will be informed of any required deposit before the order is placed.
Special-order, installed, electrical, electronic, opened, or otherwise non-returnable parts may be non-refundable to the extent permitted by law or subject to supplier/manufacturer return policies.
If a customer cancels a repair after a part has been ordered, any refund of the deposit will depend on whether the part can be returned and on any shipping, restocking, supplier, or other non-recoverable costs incurred by FixCore.
5. Appointments and AccessCustomers are responsible for providing accurate contact and service-location information and ensuring reasonable access to the appliance at the scheduled time.
The appliance should be reasonably accessible and the surrounding work area should be safe and sufficiently clear for the technician to perform the requested service.
Where reasonably necessary, the customer is responsible for providing access to electricity, water, gas shutoffs, circuit breakers, or other relevant utilities and equipment.
Appointment times or arrival windows are estimates and may be affected by traffic, previous service calls, parts availability, weather, emergencies, or other circumstances outside FixCore's reasonable control.
If a significant delay occurs, we will make reasonable efforts to communicate with the customer.
6. Cancellation and ReschedulingCustomers should notify FixCore as soon as reasonably possible if an appointment needs to be canceled or rescheduled.
FixCore may charge a cancellation, missed-appointment, or additional service fee when a technician has been dispatched, arrives and cannot access the property or appliance, or the customer is unavailable for the scheduled appointment.
Any applicable charge will be communicated when appropriate.
7. Customer AuthorizationBy approving a repair, the customer authorizes FixCore to perform the agreed services and to access, disassemble, test, move where reasonably necessary, and reassemble the appliance as reasonably required to diagnose or complete the approved work.
The person approving the work represents that they are the owner of the appliance/property or otherwise authorized to approve the service.
8. Existing Conditions and Additional ProblemsAppliances may have multiple failures, worn components, concealed damage, improper previous repairs, installation problems, electrical issues, plumbing issues, corrosion, deterioration, or other conditions that may not be visible during the initial inspection.
FixCore is not responsible for pre-existing defects, damage, deterioration, improper installation, previous repairs, or unrelated failures.
Repairing one diagnosed problem does not guarantee that another component will not fail later.
If additional problems are discovered, FixCore may recommend additional repairs, parts, or services. No material additional repair will be performed without customer authorization.
9. Repair WarrantyUnless otherwise stated before the repair,
qualifying repairs performed by FixCore include a two (2) month limited warranty on the specific labor performed and parts supplied and installed by FixCore as part of that repair. The warranty period begins on the date the applicable repair is completed.
The warranty applies only to the specific repair performed and does not constitute a warranty on the entire appliance.
Warranty coverage does not apply to:
- Unrelated or newly occurring failures
- Different components that were not repaired or replaced by FixCore
- Pre-existing conditions
- Normal wear and tear
- Misuse, abuse, neglect, or improper operation
- Improper installation or conditions not caused by FixCore
- Power surges or electrical supply problems
- Plumbing, drainage, water-supply, gas-supply, ventilation, or building-related problems
- Pest, moisture, corrosion, fire, flood, or other environmental damage
- Work performed or modified by another person after FixCore's repair
- Customer-supplied parts unless expressly agreed otherwise
- Services specifically identified as being performed without warranty
If the customer believes a covered repair has failed during the warranty period, the customer should contact FixCore before arranging repair or modification by another provider.
10. Services Performed Without WarrantyCertain services may be offered on a
no-warranty basis because of the condition of the appliance, the nature of the requested work, customer-supplied parts, pre-existing damage, temporary repair conditions, maintenance/cleaning services, or other circumstances.
When reasonably applicable, FixCore will inform the customer that a particular service is being provided without warranty before the customer approves that service.
Customer authorization after such disclosure constitutes acceptance of the no-warranty condition for that specific service.
11. Customer-Supplied PartsFixCore may, at its discretion, agree to install a part supplied by the customer.
FixCore does not warrant the quality, compatibility, condition, authenticity, or performance of customer-supplied parts.
Unless expressly agreed otherwise, any warranty provided by FixCore for installation of a customer-supplied part applies only to the installation labor and does not cover the part itself or additional labor resulting from a defective, incorrect, or incompatible part.
12. PaymentPayment is due according to the terms communicated to the customer for the applicable service.
FixCore may accept payment through available methods such as credit/debit card, cash, check, electronic payment, or another approved payment method.
Deposits and other advance payments may be required for parts or certain repairs.
The customer is responsible for authorized charges for services performed, parts ordered, and other amounts approved in connection with the service.
13. EstimatesRepair prices communicated following diagnosis are based on the technician's assessment of the appliance at that time.
Unless expressly identified as a binding written quote, an estimate does not cover additional unrelated or concealed problems discovered later.
If circumstances materially change the scope or price of the repair, the customer will be informed before additional work is performed.
14. Limitation of ResponsibilityTo the extent permitted by applicable law, FixCore is not responsible for losses or damages resulting from conditions outside the reasonable scope of the approved repair, including pre-existing defects, concealed conditions, appliance age or deterioration, manufacturer defects, improper installation, utility problems, customer misuse, or subsequent component failures unrelated to FixCore's work.
Nothing in these Terms is intended to exclude or limit liability that cannot legally be excluded or limited under applicable law.
15. Commercial AppliancesCommercial appliance services may involve equipment subject to heavier usage, different operating conditions, accessibility requirements, or manufacturer specifications.
Repair availability, warranty coverage, pricing, parts availability, and service conditions for commercial equipment may differ from residential appliance service and may be communicated separately when applicable.
16. Refrigeration ServicesRefrigeration services may include diagnosis and certain refrigeration-system services when appropriate and legally permitted.
The scope of refrigeration work depends on the equipment, diagnosis, refrigerant system, condition, parts availability, technician certification, and other applicable requirements.
FixCore may decline refrigeration work outside the services it offers or where the repair cannot reasonably or safely be performed.
17. CommunicationsBy providing a phone number or email address in connection with a service request, the customer agrees that FixCore may contact them regarding the requested service, including scheduling, technician arrival, diagnosis, estimates, parts, repairs, invoices, payments, and related customer-service communications.
Marketing communications, if any, are subject to applicable consent and opt-out requirements.
